Privacy Policy.
Effective Date: August 23, 2026.
We build infrastructure to process commerce, not to harvest data. Here is exactly how your operational data is handled.
Minimal Collection
We only collect the exact data points required to capture an order, verify the address, and dispatch a rider.
Zero Data Selling
Your customer lists are your own. We do not sell, rent, or trade your buyer data to third-party advertisers.
1. Information We Collect
When you register as a vendor on Caltra OS, or when your customers interact with your Storefront, we collect specific information to facilitate the e-commerce transaction:
- Vendor Data: Business name, email, phone number, and banking details for Caltra Pay remittances.
- Customer Data: Names, phone numbers, exact delivery coordinates, and product selections captured via the checkout form.
- Logistics Data: Live GPS coordinates from riders using Caltra Fulfill during active delivery windows.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data powers the Caltra Fulfillment Flywheel. We use it strictly for operational execution:
- Automated SMS Verification: Customer phone numbers are pinged by our automated systems to verify delivery intent and correct addresses before rider dispatch.
- Tracking & Routing: Logistics coordinates calculate real-time ETAs and weather-aware tracking links for the end customer.
- Credit Underwriting: As part of our long-term vision, your transaction history and delivery success rates are analyzed internally to underwrite working capital loans via Caltra Capital.
3. Third-Party Sharing & Logistics
Because Caltra bridges order collection and last-mile delivery, data handoffs are mathematically necessary. However, they are highly restricted:
Logistics Partners: When you assign an order via Caltra Fulfill, the vetted logistics company and the specific assigned rider receive the customer's name, phone number, and delivery address. This data is provided solely to execute the physical delivery.
We absolutely do not sell, rent, or trade your inventory data, revenue metrics, or customer lists to third-party marketers or competitors.
