Caltra
Ecosystem Standards

Network Operating Guidelines.

Caltra is a high-trust ecosystem uniting vendors, logistics partners, and independent riders[cite: 3]. To maintain mathematical precision across our network, all participants must adhere to these operational standards.

For Vendors

Catalog & Inventory Integrity

You are the merchant of record. Caltra provides the software infrastructure, but you are entirely responsible for the physical goods you sell.

  • Zero Bait-and-Switch: Product images on your Caltra storefront must accurately reflect the physical item being delivered.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Do not list items as active if they are out of stock. Dispatching riders for out-of-stock items creates friction and penalizes your trust rating.
For Vendors

SMS Infrastructure Usage

Our dual-path SMS verification engine guarantees address accuracy before dispatch[cite: 3]. It is an operational tool, not a marketing broadcast system.

  • Mandatory Pre-Dispatch Flagging: If an SMS goes unanswered or undelivered, the system will flag the order[cite: 3]. You must respect this flag and halt dispatch to prevent wasted logistics fees.
  • No Spam Tolerance: Your Custom Sender ID (e.g., your store name) is strictly for confirmations and live tracking updates[cite: 3]. Promotional blasts will result in immediate suspension.
For Logistics Companies

Fleet Management & Vetting

Logistics companies manage their entire operations through Caltra Fulfill[cite: 3]. You are responsible for the performance and conduct of your dispatched riders.

  • Maintaining the Verified Badge: To keep your Verified Company Badge, your fleet must maintain our baseline delivery success rates and customer satisfaction scores[cite: 3].
  • Accurate Order Assignment: Use the dashboard to assign incoming vendor orders to available riders based on proximity and area expertise[cite: 3]. Permissions must be securely assigned to specific riders[cite: 1].
For Vendors & Logistics

Dispatch & Handoff Protocols

When vendors integrate with logistics partners via Caltra Fulfill, both parties enter a synchronized operational loop[cite: 3].

  • Dispatch Readiness: Vendors must not assign an order to a rider until the physical package is fully packed, sealed, and ready for immediate pickup.
  • Respecting ETAs: Delaying a rider at the pickup location breaks the automated traffic-aware routing and skews the delivery ETAs provided to the end customer[cite: 3].
For Independent Riders

App Usage & Status Updates

Riders are the physical extension of the ecosystem. Timely system updates ensure visibility for both the vendor and the customer.

  • Real-Time Updates: You must update orders with accurate tags such as "delivered," "rejected," or "pending" the moment the status changes[cite: 1].
  • Verified Status: Completing verification and maintaining a strong delivery performance history allows you to earn and keep the Verified badge[cite: 3].
For All Participants

Data Privacy & Dispute Resolution

The Caltra network processes sensitive customer data, including names, phone numbers, and exact residential addresses[cite: 1, 3].

  • Masked Communications: Customers connect with riders through masked numbers to protect the privacy of both parties[cite: 3]. Do not circumvent this by distributing direct lines.
  • Immutable Timestamps: We rely on timestamped delivery records for dispute resolution[cite: 3]. If a rider marks an order delivered but a customer disputes it, Caltra’s server logs determine the outcome[cite: 3].
